  Neverness to Everness (2026)

  I am gonna be honest; I never kept up with this or even heard of it until the day it released, and that's entirely because of my boyfriend/our friends. they are big gacha players who keep up with all of that and try a lot of different ones. This game is sort of like an anime grand theft auto of sorts. There's SO much to do!! I am actually thoroughly enjoying it. The characters are cute and the story seems interesting. Theres a good amount of side quests and little things to explore/figure out. My favorite characters so far are Jiuyuan, Nanally, Mint, and Baicang. All in all, I'd recommend it if you're interested in free to play gacha games. It definitely seems generous so far, but I am easily content with the grind.

  Pokemon Legends: Z-A (2025)

  I got this for my birthday from a friend after ogling it for awhile. I was raised on Pokemon, like a lot of us millennials were. I've been playing off and on since late March. I think I am nearing the end of the main storyline and I've enjoyed it. I love the character customizations and the new battle style is pretty fun (albeit it feels a bit too easy sometimes; but I have to remind myself Pokemon is primarily a kid's game, even though I am now 33). I plan to buy the DLC when I finish it up because Raichu is my favorite pokemon, and I have to get the mega evolution(s)!!! I already have my eye on the alolan raichu you can unlock in the game...

  Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen (2026)

  At the time of writing, I have only watched episode one. That being said, It is doing everything I wanted this show to do. I went in blind, knowing only the genre. It is SOOO eerie. I feel so paranoid as I watch it and I am really eager to see what is going to happen next. I am a big fan of Stranger Things and the Duffer Brothers had a hand in this, so I am optimistic.

  Ohhh my Godddd. Her music is so, so good. Transcendent, even. She is by and large my current obsession musically at the moment. Some of my favorite songs, in no specific order: Truth of Pursuit, Lonely Touch, Starling, and Sublime. If you love emotional ballads and beautiful vocals, give her a listen!

  Mr. Ballen Podcast: Strange, Dark, and Mysterious Stories

  I came across Mr Ballen on my algorithm almost a year ago and was immediately taken with his storytelling. He is compelling and easy to listen to, and has since become a big part of my weekly routine. I listen to him at work or when I am driving to and from work. If you're into true crime, paranormal, or mysteries, I recommend him! He seems like a pretty cool guy as well.

  Flowerheart by Catherine Bakewell (2023)

  I am the world's slowest reader and I have had this book checked out from my local library for well over a month now. Between a stint of illness and just who I am as a person, it's taken me ages. I'm around halfway through this book right now. I will admit that the cover art, which is absolutely stunning, is what drew me into this read. It doesn't start slow - it throws you right into the world, the characters, and the problems of our MC. I am enjoying it, though I wouldn't say it's a contender for a top spot by any means.
